At a Glance: The 2023 Honda Civic

Trim Levels

The Honda Civic Sedan has four trim levels with the LX, Sport, EX, and Touring. There are also hatchback body styles available for the Sport, EX, and Touring trim levels.

Performance

The LX trim level starts the Civic off for 2023 with an in-line 4-cylinder engine. This design delivers a maximum of 158 horsepower and 138 lb.-ft of torque. The LX averages 31 miles to the gallon in the city and 40 miles to the gallon on the highway.

The EX and Touring trims have an in-line 4-cylinder turbocharged engine. These models reach a maximum of 180 horsepower and 177 lb.-ft of torque. The Touring averages 31 miles to the gallon in the city and 38 miles to the gallon on the highway.

Honda Sensing Safety & Driver Assistive Technology

The standard Civic comes with a long list of impressive safety assist features. These include a lane-keeping assist system, lane departure warning, collision mitigation braking, and road departure mitigation. There is also a forward collision warning, traffic sign recognition, and auto high-beam headlights.

A particularly popular feature that comes standard with the Civic in 2023 is adaptive cruise control, which makes road trips a lot easier. This feature will automatically adjust the speed in your Civic based on the speed of the vehicle in front of you. The Touring trim level adds a blind spot information system and parking sensors in the front and rear.

Available Smart Entry

The Sport, EX, and Touring trim levels all have a smart entry feature. This technology includes an auto-lock that initiates when you walk away from the vehicle.

Infotainment

The standard touchscreen in the 2023 Civic is a seven-inch diagonal system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capabilities. The standard sound system has four speakers and includes speed-sensitive volume compensation technology.

The Touring trim level upgrades some of these features. The touchscreen becomes a nine-inch model with easily customizable feature settings. The sound system becomes a Bose Premium model with 12 speakers and a subwoofer. The Touring also adds navigation and a wireless phone charger.

Available Moonroof

If you’re interested in a moonroof, you’ll want to choose either the EX or Touring trim levels. Honda has added a one-touch power moonroof to make driving that much more fun in your Civic.

Honda has added a lot of features to the Civic that used to be considered exclusive to the luxury set. Drivers will want to get behind the wheel of this technologically advanced model as soon as they can. Visit Kelly Grimsley Honda now to see our wide selection of new cars.
