Trim Levels of the 2023 Honda Passport

Passport EX-L

Every 2023 Honda Passport has a 280-horsepower V6, nine-speed automatic transmission, and torque-vectoring all-wheel drive. The latter is a new standard feature for the new model year. With the right equipment, it can tow up to 5,000 lbs. The base model is full of high-end features like leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable front seats, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, three-zone automatic climate control, and wireless device charging.

Honda has equipped the 2023 Passport with an array of standard safety features. The EX-L trim includes a rearview camera, automatic high beams, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, parking sensors, lane departure warning, road departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control, and forward collision warning with forward automatic emergency braking. Four USB ports, a seven-speaker stereo with HD radio, and Bluetooth round out the package.

Passport TrailSport

If you upgrade to the TrailSport trim, you’ll get a household-style power outlet, navigation, voice recognition, rear-window sunshades, and ambient cabin lighting. The upholstery has exclusive orange stitching. Additional exterior features include off-roading tires, a heated windshield wiper zone, roof rails, and LED fog lights.

The TrailSport also swaps the 20-inch pewter gray alloy wheels for 18-inch machine-finished alloy wheels with pewter gray inserts. Instead of the base model’s body-colored mirrors, it has gloss black mirrors for a sleek, sophisticated appearance.

Passport Elite

With the Elite trim, upgrades include climate-controlled front seats, a heated steering wheel, and heated rear seats. The top-of-the-line 2023 Passport comes with a hands-free liftgate, a 10-speaker premium stereo, a Wi-Fi hotspot, HondaLink subscription services, and a premium 10-speaker stereo system. It also features 20-inch machine-finished alloy wheels with gloss black inserts. In addition to acoustic windshield glass, the Elite has acoustic front door glass.

The Passport fits in the Honda lineup right below the similar Pilot, which has three rows of seats. With the Passport, you’ll get more than 42 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats and almost 78 cubic feet with the seats folded flat. It also has 8.1 inches of ground clearance, so it’s ready to tackle tough terrain and an Intelligent Traction Management system that lets you switch between snow, sand, and mud.
