The pool is well-kept and the staff on duty are friendly and helpful. You can also bring food and spread a blanket out on the grass by the pool.
Teenagers love to test their bike and skate skills at the outdoor facility, plus it’s fun for adults to watch. Sherwood is located at 4819 N. Everglade Ave. and is open every day except Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
2. Memorial Garden
Take a walk around the pond and enjoy the beauty of the flowers along the way. You’ll also enjoy seeing the many geese, ducks, and turtles that are often swimming nearby. You’ll observe many families out and about enjoying a Saturday or Sunday afternoon right along with you. You can even bring your furry friend as dogs are welcome. The region is clean and tidy, so please make sure you pick up after Fido to keep the place nice.

3. Jim Parker
You’ll discover a variety of activities here, such as slides, rock climbing, baseball, tennis, and even zip lining. The slides are built into a manmade hill, giving them a unique look that kids love to visit. The mini rock climbing wall and small zip line are also very popular with the kiddos. Don’t forget to bring a picnic and cold beverages.
