While some car manufacturing brands re-release their most popular vehicles year after year with little to no changes, Honda is not one of them. Despite the popularity the Pilot has had in previous years, Honda has still made efforts to improve their newest Pilot model in every conceivable way possible. The 2023 Honda Pilot embodies the results of that dedication to perfection, and drivers everywhere have taken notice.

Getting Familiar With the 2023 Honda Pilot

Quality Where It Counts

Honda’s newest Pilot is powered by a V6 engine that boasts a torque of 262 lb-ft, 285 horsepower, and a 24-valve DOHC valvetrain with Dual Variable Timing Control. The Pilot comes equipped with a selectable driving mode system that allows you to choose between Normal, Sport, Tow, Snow, and ECON. The Pilot features an Active Control Engine Mount System, and this teams up with the cabin’s Active Noise Cancellation™ to give you a quiet, ambient ride.

Inside the Pilot

The 2023 Pilot has seating for eight, making it an excellent companion for long outings. The second and third seating rows are benches and can be folded flat for additional cargo space. You won’t want the drive to end even on the longest road trips thanks to the 140-watt seven-speaker audio system that includes a subwoofer. The onboard Speed-Sensitive Volume Compensation program means the music will turn down slightly as you slow to a stop.

In the driver’s seat, the dashboard features a seven-inch touchscreen that serves as the infotainment hub. There is an additional seven-inch screen that houses the instrument cluster. You can easily and seamlessly connect your smart device to the Pilot thanks to the HondaLink smartphone compatibility program.

Features You Need To See

With the Pilot’s base model LX, you’ll get a plethora of all the best safety programs as standard features. The suite of Honda Sensing® safety features includes the Forward Collision Warning, the Collision Mitigation Braking System that applies the brakes for you to lessen the severity of an impact, the Lane Departure Warning that audibly alerts you if you drift out of your lane, the Road Departure Mitigation System, the Lane Keeping Assist, and the Traffic Jam Assist.

To be able to appreciate all of the improvements and upgrades the 2023 Pilot has undergone, you’ll have to see it in person.
