3 of the Best Breakfast Places Near Odessa, TX

JumBurrito

For over 39 years, JumBurrito has been an institution in our city. It’s so popular that they’re opened six more restaurants in the Midland/Odessa area. As you can guess, they specialize in burritos. The husband and wife team who started this popular chain wanted to make the best burrito from scratch that can be served quickly. They’ve certainly succeeded if the queues in their restaurants are anything to go by.

JumBurrito offers seven different specialty burritos for breakfast, including hickory-smoked bacon and egg, beef chorizo and egg, and country ham and egg. The portions are generous, and if you’re extra hungry you can increase your regular burrito to a jumbo one. They also have a DIY burrito, you just need to tell them what you’d like, and it’ll be ready in minutes. They’re located at 2411 N Country Road, W, and they’re open from 6.30 am to 9 pm, Monday to Saturday, and 7 am to 3 pm on Sundays.

Dewey’s Breakfast and Lunch Shop

Don’t let the outside of the building fool you. It might look like an old auto shop, but behind the facade, it’s bright, clean, and airy. Dewey’s is known for inexpensive, good quality food, and this has made them popular. You may have a slight delay getting a table, but the friendly and efficient servers will have you seated ASAP. Their menu is aimed at comfort food, like burritos, biscuits, and breakfast platters.

Breakfast burritos are served all day, and you’ve got twelve to choose from. We like the kitchen sink burrito, with four types of meat, cheese, potato, and egg. It hits the spot. Breakfast platters include two eggs, two types of meat, two pancakes, hashbrowns, and toast, or Chile Verde with two eggs, beans, and a flour tortilla. Dewey’s is open from 5.30 am to 2 pm, Monday to Friday, and from 7 am to 1 pm on Saturdays.

Brunch and Munch Eatery and Creperie

Brunch opened in 2018 and quickly made a name for itself with its fast, friendly, and efficient service. Their menu has options for every taste, from eggs benedict Florentine to a Texas-style breakfast. The short stack, two sweet cream pancakes with butter, syrup, and two slices of bacon is a perfect light start to the day. We also like the healthy trainer-approved crepe, two crepes with peanut butter, bananas, granola, and honey with light cream and seasonal berries.

The restaurant is on the west side of downtown, at 818 N County Road W.

After breakfast, come on in and see us at Kelly Grimsley Honda for a great deal on a new car.
